A Good friend of the network's just relaunched her website http://www.theskinnypignyc.com . The Skinny Pig takes a different twist on food review. With a cynical and humorous writing style she has a very unique blog . Dara was born and raised in Queens ( Now living in Manhattan) on her blog she says ” I will try any type of food, as long as it doesn't involve clams or oysters. Actually I take that back. I tried baked clams once, and that was only because they were covered with bread crumbs and basted with melted butter. Which leads to the next fact about me: I have a slight preference for fattening food and can eat quite large quantities of it, hence the nickname “Skinny Pig.” by today's standards I'm not even “skinny” – a size 4 is considered fat in NYC but “The Average Pig” doesn't have as nice of a ring to it.”
