We need to take a short break to recharge our bods and brains– after
weeks of pushing to the finish line of new shows, content and streams.
I think the Stickam Hack was a disaster in a lot of ways– mostly
momentum. We worked hard to roll out good programming, on time, then
got derailed by dumb punk brats with no life.
We're taking a week to lay low and do some of the often neglected
non-show stuff. Mailings, community actions and generally pressing the
digital flesh. We'll do Friday night's lineup on schedule, but that
will be the last “normal” live night for a week. Then it will be side
business and random, unscripted appearances so people know we're not
dead or leaving. There is a lot of non live stuff to do. Forums, photo
uploads, youtube items, etc. We need to be deeper as a brand, so if
people want to know more about “_____”, they have a resource for that.
I'll record some videos and upload them as well as make some phone
calls to secure guests for other shows. You all do the same.
