Taking place at the Altman Building Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th is the Get Real NY Craft Beer and Food Festival. As you can probably imagine, it's loaded with beer and food. What a simple and genius concept! At this all-you-can-drink-and-taste event, you will have the opportunity to sample over 80 cask ales from the nation's best craft breweries and home brewers like Sierra Nevada Harvest, Blue Point 10th Anniversary, Green Flash Double Stout and Sixpoint Diesel. There is also a “Locals Only” section where you can find Brooklyn-based beers like Brooklyn Brewery (holler!) and Kelso of Brooklyn, not to mention your favorite NYC bar-beers from The Stag's Head, Jimmy's No. 43, and Manchester Pub.
This year, the Craft Beer and Food Festival is really expanding on their food pairings; with options from Loreley, Mexicue, The Delta Grill, Frites n Meats, Cafe D'Alsace, Fatty Crab, Meze Grill, Brother Jimmy's, Murray's Cheese Shop, L'Asso Pizza, La Bella Torte and more.
